DWG → DXF

Choose the easiest method: one file online, or a whole folder with ODA File Converter.

Easiest Convert one file online — no install

For a single DWG, upload it to an online converter, download the DXF, then open it here.

  1. Open the converter and upload your DWG.
  2. Download the converted DXF.
  3. Open that DXF in CADHAUS.
Need reliable batch conversion? Use the Folder tab

For multiple files or newer DWG versions, use ODA File Converter. It converts an entire input folder to an output folder at once.

Open ODA download page ↗
BATCH Folder conversion with ODA File Converter

Put all DWG files in one INPUT folder. ODA converts them together and saves the DXF files in OUTPUT.

Open ODA download page ↗
Prepare folders. Run the helper BAT once. It creates INPUT and OUTPUT on your Windows Desktop.
Put DWGs in INPUT. Copy all drawings you want to convert into the INPUT folder.
Set ODA. Input directory = INPUT, Output directory = OUTPUT, Output file type = DXF, and use ASCII DXF.
Convert. Run the conversion in ODA. All converted DXF files will be collected in OUTPUT.
Open the DXF folder here. Select OUTPUT below and browse the converted drawings with Previous / Next.
Why folder mode? It is more reliable for multiple or newer DWG files, and you only set the conversion options once.
